Yesterday, unknown parties tried to scam me through my e-mail account at yahoo, under the guise of a so-called "Pay Pal" alert.
The communication alleged that my Pay Pal account was in "limited" status - for some inexplicable reason - and encouraged me to upgrade by providing personal data (including my password) and credit card information.
I immediately became suspicious, so I surfed over to the Pay Pal web site to review my account.
Uh-huh!
As usual, my account was in good stead, without restriction!
Obviously, con artists on the Internet are now focusing on Pay Pal (and its vulnerabilities), so watch out!
