Once the lawyers for both sides have argued the issues orally at the Federal Courthouse in San Francisco, the Judge will take the matter under submission, and thereafter render a decision according to his legal findings.
Undoubtedly, the party that does not prevail in the Federal District Court, will remain undaunted - and pursue the issues further - by way of a timely appeal in the 9th Circuit Court of Appeal.
Eventually, the fight for "gay marriage" rights may end up in the lap of the Justices in the highest Court in the land in Washington D.C.
